It has been a while since I told what I have seen others posting about around the "interwebs", so for today I thought we would take a quick peak at other's pages:

• Lisa at condo blues made a cool LOLCat inspired BBQ cover to cover her cheeseburger macheen!
• Mellow at  A Life Unproccessed explains why we should eat the peel!
• Erica at Northwest Edible Life asks if you would Rub lard all over your face, and explains why you should!
• and finally at Inside Urban Green, Scientists in South Korea are developing a farming system that could allow food to be grown in any climate!

What a Pisser!

Ever wonder what to do with that old tuba? Or does the artist in you want to create? With all the St. Patricks day fluff, and green beer and all I thought we should have a talk about bodily waste. Cbsnews.com has a collection of the World's Craziest Toilets. Done for a laugh, but also to help focus attention on the 2.6 billion people who don't have indoor plumbing. Lack of proper sanitation leads to 1.8 million deaths each year from diarrheal disease. Most of the victims are children.
That's the bad news. The good news is you can do go to WorldToilet.org and do something about it. I for one would love to have a Tuba Urinal in my bathroom. Or is it a Sousaphone?

NEW TO THE GARDEN BLOGS BLOG ROLL

In case you didn't notice, I added some more blogs to the Garden Blogs Blogroll. Welcome Global Buckets.org, Whom I posted about on Saturday. Also welcome Green Roof Growers a blog I discovered through Global Buckets- very interesting blog- he has all sorts of neat things including this vid on a fellow roof top gardener who has a cool garden, with a pea pole that I am going to steal. And honey bees! And welcome My Grandpa's Garden, a garden blog by Michelle who was inspired by her grandfathers love of gardening. And last but not least welcome Heavy Petal, who should not be new to anyone who peruses gardening blogs, hails from Western Canada, and has great Ideas on raised bads and such, and makes seed bombs!!!
