That time of year when I try to come up with ideas for costumes for the boys- found some great inspiration too.
Ghost Dog
This would work if I could keep the sheet on the dogs. Pretty simple though. three holes, two for they eyes, on for the snout.

Pretty simple- all you need is a harness, some felt and a Ken or barbie doll minus the head. Also you could do a cowboy or just about anything that rides a horse!

Another easy costume- if you have a hoodie that fits your dog. A little swag around the neck fo' shizzle

Here's a costume for wine-y dogs. Turn them into the pre-pressed product with either green or purple balloons taped together and pinned by their stems to a cloth coat. Cut large grape leaves out of green felt and attach them to the dog collar.

Romeo was a cat one year- Buddy has never gone howl-oweening before. I think I have it narrowed down. But I think these are great costumes one and all!

I may never buy Boxed Mac and Cheese again!

What? Rob joining the health food, homemade gluten free bandwagon? Fear not. I love boxed Mac 'N Cheese. My mom never made it growing up, so when i first moved out I went crazy with it. But I have found a "Homemade" mac and cheese" that takes 5 minutes, over at Picky It is soooo good!

Hot Dog-Rittos

Crispy Bean Burritos are one of my favorite things. So are Hot Dogs. So, I thinks, why not combine the two???

Hot Dog-rrittos

Frankfurter (Dinner size)
2 slices of cheese, any style
1 10"Tortilla
Toppings of your choice

Pre-Heat your ove to 350 (or your toaster oven to 300) "Par Cook your hot dog (1 minute in a microwave or boiling water should suffice) place your cheese slices on the tortilla, top with the hot dog. add any toppings you might like now (I actually like a bit of salsa on mine) Roll everything up in the tortilla, Bake on an oven safe pan for 3-5 minutes or until tortilla starts to get nice and brown.

Burien's Sidewalk Pimps

Romeo and Buddy are lying on the sidewalk acting like they own it because The Bike Rack we sponsored through WABI is finally installed. They remind me of the "Shed Pimps" from the Food Network show "The Shed".

A Bento box for your jars!

I am just fascinated with bento boxes and tiffins for carrying my lunches. Well The BNTO (pr. BENTO) Canning Jar Adaptor from CUPPOW turns any wide mouth canning jar into  two section lunchbox! I have been using a cuppow Mason Jar Commuter Mug for about a year, (dont worry, I still use Muggsly on a never ending basis) and love it, so I look forward to trying these smart little containers in my quest for a great lunch at work! And I am also thinking - what a great way to bring the dog's wet and dry food in the same container on trips!

I was not paid or reimburse in anyway for this product endorsement. Just like the product and thought I would share!

Aquaponic sandwich!

My Aqua farm is working! For lunch tonight I had a BLT- with artisan bread from a local bakery, tomato grown in my garden at home, organic Mayonnaise, uncured pre-cooked bacon and lettuce from the Aqua farm! Pretty tasty experiment!

Pinheads:Redneck Edition

Pinheads: Redneck Edition... some of these are a tad corny, some are genious!
