A tree made out of CD's

I just glued 25 CD's together, and put "C-7" LED Bulbs through the holes
You gotta love how the light catches the CD's
Especially when Dark

Now I have a nice lighted wall hanging to display at home! Easy to do. Just a couple of tubes of Super Glue, a string of lights and a butload of old CD's! And I think it has enough "Drag Queen" sparkle to keep my friend Condo Blues happy!

This post is part of Reinvented's trash to treasure tuesday!

Awesome. My mom did this years ago with all those free aol cd's that use to get sent out weekly. We'd get at least 3 a week, one for her, one for me and one for my brother. She also made a wreath shaped one. Not sure what happened to them.

It's cute, Rob, but I think you have too much time on your hands. ;-)

Another good use for trashed CDs is backing an aquarium. I used double-stick tape to put them on the back side to create a mirror-like effect for zero dollars.

That's a great and good looking use for those pesky CDs. Your tree is very hip looking and as green as can be. Happy holidays to you!

I LOVE IT! It's sparkly glam glitzy Wow! and would fit perfectly into my recycled Danish Drag Queen Holiday Decor.

Also the perfect tree for us because my husband and I are both computer geeks. :)
