RIP Aunt Shirley
That's the funny thing about timing- It never ceases to amaze- Just Saturday I was thinking of my aunt Shirley and her ability to make bread pudding. I just found out today (yesterday actually) she passed away in her sleep in Edmore ND. I knew I should of gotten her stuffed squash recipe! Aunt Shirley was a great cook and great friend- she will be missed by many!

Rob, I'm so sorry to hear about your Aunt Shirley. My condolences go out to you and your family.
Rob- ditto what Burbs said. You should make another bread pudding in her honor:)
burbs and ib- thank you so much. I already made another bread pudding- this one with raisins in it.
Sorry to hear about your Aunt, Rob. If you go to her services maybe you can look around for the squash recipe...and post it ;-)
I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt.
Thank you all. The problem with aunt Shirley's squash recipe is it is an old Syrian recipe handed down from her mother-in-law- and the summer squash seeds were as well! So it was pretty inclusive to Aunt Shirley- and I never got the seeds,so I imagine it will go to the grave with her.
