I went to my first "Sustainable Burien" meeting today. Very interesting group. We discussed all sorts of things near and dear to my heart- Community, local gardening, local business, local food, environment, alternative power- even chicken raising! One of the folks attending was a guy who knows solar and such, and has an electric car! It feels good to know there are like-minded folks out there who (here's the scary part) think like I do!
